Happy people tend to be more productive and successful than unhappy people. I’ve written about happiness and its effect on productivity and for those of you who are interested in the subject, I highly recommend reading The Happiness Advantage: Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work, by Shawn Achor. Achor is a brilliant writer and an expert in positive psychology. If you don’t have time to read the book, I also recommend watching his TED Talk, “The Happy Secret to Better Work.”
