Waking up early is a common thread among successful people.

One of the most consistent things I’ve encountered while researching success is how successful people structure their day.  According to this piece by Josh Gwin at Ladders, his early-to-rise habits have proven instrumental in getting things done.  In his own words, “I accomplish more of my goals before 7:30 than I used to achieve all day.”

His conversion to an early morning lifestyle is a common and drastic change that anyone can make for the better.  It is also a common thread among powerhouses like Richard Branson, Tim CookIndira NooyiElon Musk and Oprah Winfrey, all of whom wake and start their day before 7 A.M..
