Most of the advice I provide in Selling in 6 is related to business practices; however, many of those insights are useful in a personal context as well. 

That said one must be mindful about keeping personal and business lives separate.  If you aren’t able to do that, one or both of them will suffer as a result.  I highly recommend this quick read on Fast Company for a great primer on work-life integration.  It will help you during your weekday hours and remind you to clear your mind when you’re off the clock.
