Online/On-Demand (90 Minutes)
Keys to Getting More Energy Projects Approved in 2026
Inflation, tariffs, and expiring federal tax incentives are raising concerns about energy project costs, but they don’t change the fundamentals of a well-designed energy investment. This webinar shows how to replace myth with math by putting rising costs and lost tax benefits into perspective and refocusing the conversation on what truly drives approval decisions. Whether you’re developing a proposal, selling a solution, or championing a project internally, success in this environment depends on the ability to replace myth with math and clearly communicate why a project still makes sense. This session shows how to reframe economic concerns, elevate the benefits that matter most to decision-makers, and keep momentum moving toward approval.
Corresponding Half-Day In-Person Workshop
Keys to Getting More Energy Projects Approved in 2026
📅 April 22 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CST
📍 Fond du Lac Library - 32 Sheboygan St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935
This hands-on workshop builds on the webinar by giving participants practical tools they can apply to real projects. Attendees learn how to draft a concise one-page project narrative that focuses on why a project should move forward and will receive an unlocked Excel template to create a clear, one-page financial analysis aligned with capital budgeting expectations. The session emphasizes tailoring both tools to market-segment-specific benefits that extend beyond energy savings alone. By the end of the workshop, participants are equipped to reduce approval friction, improve close rates, and shorten decision cycles.
BONUS: To keep training concepts and sales impact fresh after the sessions, each participant will also receive:
- Access to Monthly Mastermind Group Coaching Calls. During the session, Mark will answer questions and provide individualized feedback on your elevator pitch, one-page proposal, or a portion of a sales presentation.
- Single-user, full-year license to Selling Energy’s Segment Guides™ online database. This resource includes hundreds of examples of non-utility-cost and non-financial benefits that often accompany the more obvious utility-cost financial benefits, as well as the best ways to address objections typically encountered in each of those 24 market segments, including Residential.
